Welcome to Kindergarten at the Ditson!

Starting kindergarten is a big milestone—not just for students, but for parents too. The Ditson School Association (DSA) is here to help make your family’s first year at Ditson fun, welcoming, and memorable.

We’re the parent volunteer organization that helps create many of the experiences your child will remember long after elementary school is over. Throughout the year, the DSA organizes and supports:

• 🎃 Family Events like Trunk or Treat, the Holiday Fair, and Math Night

•  🎨 Art Shows and Talent Shows featuring our amazing Ditson students

•  🏃 Field Day filled with games, activities, and plenty of smiles

•  🚌 Field Trips and In-School Programs to enrich classroom learning

•  💙 Teacher Grants and Classroom Support to help our educators do their best work

•  👟 The Fun Run and Other Fundraisers that make all of these programs possible

 

Our goal is simple: support our teachers, strengthen our school community, and create great memories for our kids.

Come Join Us!

You don’t have to volunteer every week or join the board to make a difference. Whether you can give an hour, help at an event, or simply attend a meeting once in a while, we’d love to have you involved.

The DSA meets monthly at 7:00 PM in the Ditson LGI Room and on Google Meet. Childcare is often available:

One of the best ways to make the first day of school feel a little smaller is to see some familiar faces ahead of time.
Join us at one of our Kindergarten Meet-Ups on the kindergarten playground:

• Thurs, 7/23 from 5:30-7

• Sun, 8/2 from 10-11:30

• Wed, 8/12 9:30-11

• *Wed, 8/26 from 5-6:30* This date is sponsored by the DSA. Join us for a Freeze Pop!

Come play, meet new friends, ask questions, and enjoy a freeze pop with other incoming Ditson families.
